There are
many "Child Friendly" hotels, motels,
resorts and even camps and camp grounds in
the united states. Every establishment has
there own definitions for "child friendly".
Parents also differ in what they expect from
a child friendly" establishment. It is very
important to make it perfectly clear what
you expect and don't assume anything. Ask
lots of questions and don't hesitate to ask
the representative to be more specific.
means's different If your motel says that
they carry cribs , be sure to ask what kind
of crib?, mattress?, how big is it ? , etc.
Most motels have small portable cribs with a
very thin mattress or "matt -pad". Parents
have told me often that when they got to
there motel that the so called crib turned
out to be a portable playpen with a sheet. A
pak n play can be a great substitute for a
crib, if that is what you want.
It is a good idea to start out calling the
more common motels that are known to cater
to family's.
Below is a list of hotel and motel chains
that
I have been told are
child friendly. It is up to you to make sure
they have what you need. Every location may
be different so be sure to be thorough when
you speak with a representative. |
