Will The Bugaboo Stroller Meet The Standards?
By Beatrice Stephenson

The Bugaboo stroller is nowadays a quite common site on the streets, and it's been a Hollywood celebrity favourite for some time. A bit eye striking with its peculiar look, it seems to be an easy manouvered stroller for the busy mom. So, is this just another costly status symbol (The prize tag on about 900 $ can give just about anyone a small chock), or is it worth its money? Well, the parents using the bugaboo stroller says it's the best invention they've ever laid there hands on, so we have decided to take a look at the Bugaboo stroller.

It's easy to believe that the engineers behind the stroller are parents as well, and that their goal was to design a stroller with features to it that they have missed on a stroller themselves. Some clever features that has never been found on a stroller before can be seen on the Bugaboo.

One of those features is that the carrycot is reversible from front to sideways and to the back, with an easy grip. When the baby grows and want to look around a bit instead of facing you, you can turn the seat around. It can also move the seat vertically, so that you can set the seat in a table-high position; very good if you are outside and want to sit down to feed or being next to your baby. Your toddler can also participate sitting with you at the table in a cafe or restaurant this way.

The Bugaboo stroller is said to be easy to get around with just about everywhere. We decided to test it, and yes, since it's light weight and the movable wheels makes it really easy to turn on in small spaces, it really was easy to walk around in the city, even in an busy hour. We took it to the beach to see how easy it was to move around in the sand, and it was actually possible to walk around without too much effort!

The carrycot is approved overnight sleeping purposes, which is really good if you are on a trip. The carrycot seat can be used as a baby bouncer on the floor as well. The handle bar is adjustable in height, and there's a roomy under shelf good for shopping or storage. Since it takes up quite little space when folded, it fits in a car, even a small one. The seat frame is 2 inches longer so it can fit a longer baby, a really thoughtful thing.

As we stated earlier, the price took a while to digest, but on the other hand, this is really an investment that you are going to use for a long time, and there's a good second hand market for quality strollers. You really won't need another stroller for as long as you have babies and toddlers around.
