Jazzland
New Orleans
Jazzland opened in New Orleans in 2000. After struggling for a couple of years, Six Flags bought the park and renamed it Six Flags New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina then destroyed it in 2005.

On September 18, 2009, the city of New Orleans fined Six Flags $3 million and

 ordered the park to vacate its lease.
